As part of the Erasmus+ BIPER (Business Informatics Program Reengineering) project, the UM FOV colleagues (Andreja Pucihar, Mirjana Kljajić Borštnar, Gregor Lenart, Marjeta Marolt, Blaž Gašperlin, Doroteja Vidmar) together with partner universities and institutions from Hungary (Budapest Corvinus University), Italy (Claranet srl.), Germany (Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology - TIB) and Scotland (University of the West of Scotland - UWS) are organizing a Summer School entitled "Smart City Enterprise Architectures", which will take place online from June 20th to 24th. The School will be held in the virtual environment Frames VR, using the VR Frame.io tool.
The Summer School will be organized as part of the BIPER Erasmus + project, where the aim is to develop new approaches to teaching and learning in the field of Information Systems (e.g. problem and challenge-based learning, design thinking, the use of Virtual Reality, Kahoot and other technologies and tools).
The participants of the Summer School will design and develop innovative solutions for a specific problem arising from the idea of a Smart City, with the support of mentors. In doing so, they will gain the necessary knowledge for designing information solutions (TOGAF approach, process view, technologies, cyber security, problem-solving methodologies).
Who should apply?
Any individual that completed or is on the way to completing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Management, Business Information Systems or similar, and is interested in Smart City solutions.
