The Faculty's library keeps over 40,000 inventory units, which are mostly freely accessible to the visitors. A friendly and bright atmosphere offers the possibility of connecting yourself to the network and search among the world’s best known providers of digital contents.

- From Monday to Friday - From 09:00 to 14:00
- Tuesday - From 15:00 to 17:00
The library is open from 9:00 to 13:00 in the summer time, in July, August and in September.
Borrowing procedure
The library material may be borrowed for a maximum of one (1) month, although, it is possible to extend it for an additional month by prior timely notification to the Librarian (in case you do not arrange an extension over your computer at home via the My library (Moja knjižnica) segment in www.cobiss.si). For this purpose, ask the Head of the Library for a password.
From October 2005 on, Degree Papers are accessible through COBISS in the electronic format (Acrobat Reader version 6 or more required). Achieved copies can be obtained by prior arrangement (available only for viewing in the Reading Room).
Costs (Membership Fee + penalty for delays)
The price list of the University Library of Maribor, which is updated yearly, and whose validity is confirmed by the Management Board of the University of Maribor every year, applies in the library of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.

Notifications
My library
The library of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences handles the reservations from the My Library segment. Every student who has applied for the password enabling access to the electronic resources and also the management of materials’ reservations and the extensions of the already borrowed materials (the student receives notifications via e-mail), can access the segment over the Internet at home (www.cobiss.si – Other Services (druge storitve) – My Library (Moja knjižnica)).
Access to electronic resources
All students who would like to get a password for access to the electronic resources, and are members of the library and have a valid student status, can obtain the password from the Head of the Library. Please send an e-mail containing your name and surname and the number of your card in the library of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences to the following address: anita.breceljnik@um.si and get your password immediately!
Deletion of inactive members in the libraries of the University of Maribor
As from 2011, the University Library of Maribor and the Faculty Libraries of the University of Maribor, which form the KISUM library information system, have started to delete inactive members from their member base. The inactive members encompass those members who have not been using their library services for a year, and the members whose membership expired at least a year (or more) ago. Deleted are only the members, who have settled all their liabilities towards all the libraries of the University of Maribor.
Deletion of the inactive members is imposed on the libraries by law, connected with the protection of personal data, while the conditions and the deletion criteria are determined by the Librarianship Act.
E-materials
From October 2005 on, Degree Papers are available in electronic format on the Internet via COBISS. The older Degree Papers are not available over the Internet.

Foreign data bases and services
Access to the Abstracts and full texts is possible directly from all the computers located in the IP address space of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences – User names and passwords are not necessary in this case. From the school area it is possible to gain access to the electronic resources at the following Internet address: www.cobiss.si or www.ukm.um.si
The same electronic resources can also be accessed at your home. For such an access you are going to need an active membership in the library of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences (expires every year on the last day of October, i.e. at the end of the academic year) and a password, assigned to you by the Head of the Library of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, in accordance with your request (after you have completed the registration into the library of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences). If you are already registered in the library of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, the password for the electronic access and the extension of an active membership in the library of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences can also be arranged via e-mail – in accordance with a request sent to the following e-mail address: anita.breceljnik@um.si
The access to the electronic resources from your home is possible in the following way:
1. Go to www.ukm.um.si
2. Click on “eUKM" in the selection bar.
3. The system redirects you to the next page, where you click on the line “elektronski viri (electronic resources)” in the middle column.
4. On the next page, select the database and click on its title.
5. Having done that, enter your user name (for example ukm.123456@libroam.si) and your password. (ATTENTION! 123456 present the fields where you enter your card number in the library of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences)
6. Click on “Prijava (Login)” and you enter the electronic resources.
It is possible to access the databases, such as EBSCO, ERIC, JSTOR, MEDLINE, ProQuest, SAGE, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and many others.
