The 4th Erasmus+ International Staff Week was successfully held at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences UM, this year under the title “Gamification in Education and Leadership”

The 4th Erasmus+ International Staff Week took place at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences UM from Monday, 17th March to Friday, 21th March, bringing together 17 participants from foreign universities from ten countries in the framework of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The International Staff Week included a number of activities that brought together researchers and staff from different higher education institutions in the European area, in a virtual environment (7th and 28th March) and in Kranj at the Faculty and in Portorož (17th-21th March 2025).

As part of the International Staff Week programme, the participants of the International Staff learned about the basics of gamification, the most common tools and ways of implementing it in the educational process and in the processes of managing and motivating employees and students. The International Staff Week programme not only offered innovative ways to learn and meet new people, but also to get to know Slovenia, as participants visited Kranj, Bled and Portorož. They were impressed by the beauty of the places and the overall organization of the week. The aim of International Staff Weeks in the European area is to bring together personnel working in higher education institutions, to learn new skills, to discover opportunities and challenges, and to share experiences and best practices.

This year's BIP International Staff Week, which was held under the title "Gamification in Education and Leadership", has once again achieved its purpose, which is reflected to the greatest extent through the positive experiences of the participants. The Faculty is looking forward to organising the International Staff Week in 2026.
