TEACHING ABROAD

The Erasmus+ mobility scheme allows teaching staff from a higher education institution to teach at a partner higher education institution abroad (Staff mobility for teaching - STA).

Partner HEIs are institutions with which the FOV has signed an ERASMUS+ Interinstitutional Agreement for the mobility of teaching staff for the purpose of teaching.

The purpose of the call for proposals is to support, within the limits of the funds allocated:

  • mobility of UM teaching staff to undertake a mobility for teaching purposes at a partner institution in a programme country;
  • mobility of staff from public or private organisations in the programme countries active in the labour market or in the field of education, training and youth (e.g. public or private, small, medium or large enterprises; public authorities at local, regional or national level, research institutes; schools, institutes or training centres at any level, etc.) invited by UM members to carry out teaching activities.

The objectives of mobility under the Erasmus+ programme are as follows:

  • A broader understanding of educational practices, policies and systems across countries;
  • better competences related to professional profiles;
  • innovations to bring about changes in terms of modernisation and international cooperation in educational organisations;
  • better understanding of the interlinkages between formal and non-formal education or vocational training and the labour market;
  • Improving the quality of their work and activities for the benefit of students;
  • better understanding of and response to social, linguistic and cultural diversity;
  • more opportunities to meet the needs of disadvantaged people;
  • enhanced support and promotion of mobility for students;
  • more opportunities for professional and career development;
  • improved foreign language skills;
  • increased motivation and satisfaction in daily work.
