ERASMUS+ STUDY ABROAD
The Erasmus+ programme allows students to study part of their full-time studies at a partner institution abroad instead of at their home institution. The partner institutions abroad at which students may complete part of their study requirements are those with which the FOV has signed an Erasmus+ Interinstitutional Agreement on student exchange.
Erasmus exchange offers students the opportunity to experience student life abroad, personal growth, increased employability, visibility, new experiences and, above all, a great deal of satisfaction.
The Erasmus+ partner institution may not charge the visiting student for tuition fees, registration fees, examinations, library access, use of laboratories, etc.; the student may only be charged small amounts for insurance (basic/emergency), membership of the student organisation, small materials (copies, laboratory materials, etc.).
An Erasmus+ Information Day is organised each year, probably in February or March (depending on the UM call), to inform students about all the details of the exchange, the preparation of the documentation, possible locations, etc. In short, we present everything you need to know about the exchange. Students are informed about the exact dates of the Erasmus+ Information Day in person (tutors visit in all years), via the website, personal emails and Facebook page.
The duration of the study abroad at the partner institution can be a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months. A list of partner institutions for study abroad is available here.
All details, procedures and necessary documents are published on the University of Maribor Student Mobility website.
