The recognition of examinations is governed by the procedures and criteria prescribed in the Regulations on the Recognition of Knowledge and Skills in Study Programmes of the University of Maribor No.012/2019/2.

The procedures for the identification, verification and recognition of knowledge and the criteria for the recognition of knowledge and skills shall apply to applicants enrolling at the University of Maribor and to students already enrolled who wish to have their knowledge taken into account as part of the study requirements completed in an existing programme.

The process of identifying, verifying and recognising knowledge and skills is initiated on the basis of an application for recognition. The candidate/student submits a complete application to the Student Affairs Office for each individual unit of study of the study programme in which he/she is enrolled at the FOV UM. The application and the required attachments are sent by post to the address Faculty of Organisational Sciences, UM, Kidričeva cesta 55/a, 4000 Kranj or submitted in person at the Student Affairs Office.

Charging of fees:

1. The fee for the procedure of determining and recognising knowledge and skills prior to enrolment or during studies (EUR 167.50 - UM Price List) is charged to applicants/students who claim recognition of knowledge and skills from non-formal knowledge that is not agreed in advance between the faculty and the applicant/student. All other target groups are charged the fee Issuance of a Decision on the Recognition of Learning Units or Issuance of a Decision on the Conditions for Continuation of Studies after Interruption of Studies according to the UM Price List (EUR 18,10 - UM Price List). These fees are charged for each individual application for recognition submitted.

3. Reference number: please write the reference number on the payment order (receipt), which is the same as your enrolment/identification number.

Application for the issue of syllabuses for the recognition of examinations at another faculty
