(1) Specific form of student involvement: participation in the research project "BIONICS, PILOT ORGANIZATIONAL MODELS OF PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND SYSTEMIC UNDERSTANDING FOR DIGITAL, GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" (PROJECT NUMBER NRP 3330-22-3515) of the FACULTY OF ORGANIZATIONAL SCIENCES.
Expected student activities:
Activities of participation in equipment testing and preparation of user documents, participation in the development of prototype solutions, participation and support in the procurement of equipment for the needs of the implementation of the BIONIKA project.
Possible conditions and restrictions for the student's participation:
University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences; Name of the study programme in which the student is enrolled: Organisation and Management of Information Systems.
Participating students must be enrolled in one of the above mentioned study programmes at the time of the project and must not be: employed or registered as unemployed with the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia (ZRSZ). The work is carried out on the basis of a student referral card.

Priority for selection will be given to (SELECTION CRITERIA) students according to the following criteria:
- average grade in studies at the FOV 40%;
- work experience 60%.
The project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and the European Union - NextGenerationEU. The project is implemented in accordance with the plan under the development area Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth, component Strengthening competences, in particular digital competences and those required by the new professions and the green transition (C3 K5), for measure Investment F. Implementation of pilot projects, the results of which will serve as a basis for preparing the ground for the reform of higher education for a green and resilient transition to Society 5.0: the Pilot Projects for the Reform of Higher Education for a Green and Resilient Transition project.
The project is co-funded by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the European Union - NextGenerationEU.

Participating students must be enrolled in one of the above-mentioned study programmes of the UM FOV, FERI AND FF at the time of the project, and must not be employed, self-employed, registered as unemployed with the competent authority, or a manager of a company or a director of a private institution.

The application must be submitted electronically using the University of Maribor's Student Challenges online platform, available at https://si.um.si . For a successful application, it is necessary to register in advance.
- The STUDENT opens the tab STUDENTS/Registration and registers on the ŠI:UM Online Platform with a single digital identity. After registration, he/she can access his/her profile.
- In the Other Challenges tab, the STUDENT can see all the challenges open and register for the desired challenge. At the end of the application, he/she also indicates the reasons for applying (a sentence or two about what is the reason for wanting to participate).
At the same time, the student completes the application form (at the end of this call) and sends it by email with the subject line "Student Challenges".
The implementation of the project tasks "Student Challenges at the University of Maribor (ŠI:UM) is planned within the framework of the University of Maribor Development Pillar funding and is in line with the University of Maribor Scientific Research Activity Development Objectives 2023-2027 (RSF ZRD UM 2023-2027).
