In October FOV UM started to participate as a project partner in the new Erasmus+ Project: SuMoS – Strengthening the ecosystem for sustainable student mobilty




The SuMoS project was designed with the broader goal of strengthening the institutional ecosystem for strategic, structured and sustainable cooperation between higher education institutions in the field of student mobility through the development and purposeful use of green practices, digital tools and curriculum comparison approaches. It is a joint initiative around 5 specific goals of 5 partners from 4 EU countries and 1 candidate country.

Expected results of the SuMoS project are as follows:

  • Recommendations for further development of International Student Mobility Ecosystem  - expected in September 2025.
  • Guidelines for upgraded procedures for student mobility at partner institutions with a catalog of green practices and a mobile student environmental footprint (MSEF) comparison tool – expected in February 2027.
  • Recommendations for comparing courses and curricula at partner institutions, based on similarity metrics and learning design – expected in June 2026.
  • Designed, tested and evaluated an innovative platform supported by artificial intelligence to support student mobility - expected in July 2027.

Project partners are: University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics (Croatia) - the leading partner; University of Maribor Faculty of Organizational Sciences from Kranj (Slovenia); University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences (Serbia); Žilina University of Žilina, Faculty of Management and Informatics (Slovakia) and ESIEA, Graduate School of Engineering ESIEA (France).

The project duration (Project ID: 2024-1-HR01-KA220-HED-000254853) is 3 years, from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2027.
