The Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Maribor organises and invites to participate in a Case Study Competition for high school students.
The whole event consists of two parts, namely:
- Education and Training for High School Students and
- A problem-solving competition.
The event is designed to take place on Monday, 15 January 2024, with a free Case Study training session, where students will learn different presentation skills and gain knowledge on how to develop a solution to a specific business challenge. The training will be followed by a business challenge pitch by a company representative. After the presentation of the challenge, the high school students will have time to work on the problem and prepare solutions to be presented at the competition.

The competition will take place on Thursday 18 January 2024. In case of a high number of entries, we reserve the right to change and adjust the schedule of the Case Study Competition for High School Students. Each student team will have 10 minutes to make a final presentation of their solution.

Groups of high school students (4-5 in a team) can apply for participation up to and including 8.1.2024 or until the places are filled, by email to: karierni.fov@um.si.
Please indicate in your application the name of your secondary school and the school you are from. In addition, please indicate at least one teacher/mentor and their contact details (email and gsm) who will accompany the team.
