QUALITY AT FOV

At the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, we pay great attention to quality and strive to be a faculty with a high quality culture. We are aware that quality cannot and should not be delegated "from above", but must be born and grow in each individual involved in any of the processes at any level of the Faculty's activity. To this end, a quality management strategy has been developed, which we try to follow and complement in our activities.

Quality Management Strategy at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences

In line with our fundamental development vision, which is to become the most recognisable higher education organisation in the field of organisation and management in Slovenia and a recognisable and well-known partner in Europe in the field of higher education and research in interdisciplinary fields with a focus on business and administrative sciences, information and communication technologies, engineering and production technologies, covering both human resources management and engineering within these fields, we at FOV are committed to:

  • develop a culture of quality,
  • involve all stakeholders in the quality management process: teachers, students, non-teaching staff, partners from the business and
  • non-economic sectors and other interested public,
  • continuously implement quality management activities according to quality indicators within the FOV and within the UM,
  • carry out regular self-evaluations, at least once a year,
  • periodically carry out evaluations at UM level,
  • periodically carry out evaluations to be conducted by independent institutions,
  • communicate all activities and results to stakeholders.

We are aware of the need to follow the principles of quality management, in particular:

  • leadership: the mission and orientation of the FOV, the care for an appropriate working environment and the relationships between employees must be clearly defined by the management of the faculty,
  • employee participation: we are aware that only the full involvement of all employees at all levels can contribute to a higher quality of the educational process and thus to a better efficiency and market visibility of the FOV,
  • adherence to a process and systems approach: the introduction of a quality management system at the FOV facilitates a more efficient and effective management of the processes in the field of quality of the educational process; this approach also allows for continuous improvement of all key and supporting processes carried out at the FOV. We are aware that the responsibilities and duties for the introduction, maintenance and implementation of the quality management system at FOV must be clearly defined,
  • continuous quality improvement: we strive to make this a clear objective for everyone at FOV,
  • evidence-based decision-making: we are aware that sound decisions can only be made on the basis of concrete results, and we therefore recognise the importance of conducting self-evaluations, evaluations, student surveys and other analyses to determine the state of quality at the FOV.
