The governing bodies of the Faculty are:

• The Dean, as the professional head of the Faculty, who shall also have such other powers as are provided for in the Statutes, the general acts of the University, or delegated to him/her by the Rector of the University,
• The Faculty Senate with its committees, as the professional body of a member of the University, which is composed of higher education teachers and scientific workers employed at the University of Maribor and students,
• The Management Committee of the Faculty, which shall supervise the business of the Member in matters of a material nature with regard to decisions taken by the Dean of the Member in the management and disposal of the assets acquired by the Member in legal transactions in its own name and on its own account,
• The Student Council shall have the power to consider and decide on matters of academic interest to the students of the Member University.
• The Academic Assembly of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences shall also be an organ of the Faculty, and shall consist of as members all employees elected to the title of higher education teacher, researcher, research assistant and higher education associate, regardless of title, who are employed at the University of Maribor and who carry out at least 25 per cent of their scientific or teaching commitments at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, as well as students, in such a way that the number of members of the Academic Assembly shall be not less than one fifth of the number of members of the Academic Assembly. Other employees of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences who predominantly carry out their work at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences shall also participate in the work of the Academic Assembly in such a way that their number shall be at least one fifth of the members of the Academic Assembly.
