BIOGRAPHY
Janja Jerebic completed her PhD in mathematics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Maribor. Her research interests include metric graph theory and quantitative research in education and organisational sciences. She has been elected to the rank of Assistant Professor in the subject area "Mathematics". She teaches lectures and tutorials in various methodological subjects at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences University of Maribor. As a member of the Chair of Methodology, she participates in various workshops in the field of research methodology and in applied projects with industry. She actively participates in the case study competition for high school and university students. She is a mentor and co-mentor of students in their final theses. She is an external member of the school graduation committee and a member of the evaluation committee at the National Meeting of Young Researchers of Slovenia. Since 2018, she is the Executive and Area (Mathematics) Editor of Dianoia (a journal for the application of natural and mathematical sciences).

  • Project "BI-RS/18-19-054": Statistical analysis of business correspondence from the point of view of the student's country of origin (bilateral ARRS project Slovenia - Serbia),
  • Project "BI-RU/19-20-034": Numerical-analytical treatment of biologically inspired algorithms for cyber-physical systems management (bilateral ARRS project Slovenia - Russia),
  • Market project in cooperation with the Oncological Institute of Ljubljana and Roche pharmaceutical company (as project leader).
  • Member of the programme group "P5-0433": Digital Restructuring of Deficit Occupations for Society 5.0 (Industry 4.0), whose leader is Prof. Dr. Boris Aberšek (FNM UM).
