CRISIS MANAGEMENT


The content of the study is in the field of organizational sciences and is interdisciplinary. In the field of organization and management with the specifics of crisis management in organizations, the student will acquire a wide range of knowledge in the areas of crisis management, psychology in crisis management, legal regulation of crisis management, human resources, information support for crisis management, threats and responses, critical infrastructure, crisis communication, simulation and modelling, analytics, GIS, coordination and management of crisis situations, uncertainty management, social and psychological reconstruction, and ethical science.
You will gain the knowledge and competences of a study programme that is unique in Slovenia. Graduates will be prepared to manage uncertainty and risk in a variety of organizations.

Graduates will be able to explain the dimension of certainty and uncertainty, assign roles in a team by mastering theoretical content, independently solve applied problems in practice, plan and organize work in teams, establish communication channels with the media, manage human resources in the organisation, analyse and simulate solutions to the consequences of internal and external events in the organization, independent communication within and outside organizations, solving and taking action within and outside the organization, teamwork, ethics and communication in different activities of organizations, solving management and organizational problems in organizations.
