ENROLMENT INSTRUCTIONS

A student who has fulfilled the conditions for advancement to a higher year and, in the case of part-time study, has paid the tuition fees for the previous years, may enrol in the higher year. It is compulsory to fill in the teaching and student workload survey in the student AIPS.

Electronic enrolment via AIPS will be possible from 16 August 2024.

Please send the following to the Student Affairs Office:

  • ENROLLMENT FORM: instructions for completing the enrolment sheet are published on the Student AIPS. You must fill in the enrolment form or check that the information is correct, print it and sign it.
  • SUBJECT - MANDATORY attachment to the enrolment form
    The student selects the elective courses of the study programme in which he/she is enrolled. In case of any questions concerning the elective (e.g. changing the subject), the student must contact the Vice-Dean for Educational Activities, Full professor PhD Polona Šprajc (polona.sprajc@um.si), however, no later than 16 September 2024.
  • STUDENT CARD
  • enclose an envelope, A5 size, on which you write your address; we will return to you the enrolment certificate and the student card with the hologram sticker for the academic year 24/25

For part-time students, please also send:

  • the EDUCATION CONTRACT that the FOV concludes with the student. Complete, sign and return two copies of the contract (two copies of the selection contract and the declaration will be sent to you by the Student Affairs Office by post from 10.8.2024 onwards). Circle the method of payment in Article V of the contract and attach the appropriate declaration accordingly:
  • Payer's declaration of payment of the tuition fees (compulsory annex to the contract in case the FOV invoices a legal entity/payer for the payment of the tuition fees) or
  • A declaration of acceptance of the debt by the guarantor (compulsory annex to the contract for self-paying students who pay their tuition fees in instalments).

In case you need a certificate of passing the examinations, please express your wish on the enrolment sheet, top right.

You can send the above-mentioned enrolment documentation by registered post to the Fakulteta za organizacijske vede UM, Kidričeva cesta 55a, Referat za študentske zadeve, 4000 KRANJ. You can also submit the documentation in person at the Student Affairs Office during office hours or in the mailbox in front of the Office.

The deadline for submitting your application is 16 August to 16 September 2024. Please send your application as soon as you meet the requirements, as this will allow us to process your application in a timely manner and return your application within a few days. According to the terms of the enrolment procedure, enrolment must be completed (data already entered in the database) by 30 September 2024 at the latest.

According to the Price List of the University of Maribor for the academic year 2024/2025, the enrolment fee of € 49.85 and the tuition fee in the case of part-time studies must be paid. The enrolment fees and tuition fees are to be paid in the amount and by the due date indicated on the invoice you will receive AFTER ENROLLMENT.

In exceptional circumstances (emergencies), students are also informed of changes by SMS. Students are advised not to opt out of SMS notifications on the Aips student website.
