Andrej Škraba is a full professor at the University of Maribor in the field of information systems. His research interests include systems theory, modelling and simulation, cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things and decision processes. A. Škraba is a recipient of the Bronze Plaque of the University of Maribor for his successful teaching work in the field of systems modelling and simulation. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of EUROMICRO, an international organisation working in the field of information technologies and microelectronics. At the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Maribor, he is an active Vice-Dean for Development.
